PROPHETEN ENOCH 1826

HENOCHS BOK 1901
1. After this the name of the Son of man, living with the Lord of spirits, was exalted by the inhabitants of the earth.

1. And it came to pass after this that his name was elevated during his lifetime to that Son of Man, to the Lord of the spirits, away from those who dwell on the earth.

1. And it came to pass after this that his name during his lifetime was raised aloft to that Son of Man and to the Lord of Spirits from amongst those who dwell on the earth.

2. It was exalted in the chariots of the Spirit; and the name went forth in the midst of them.

2. And it was elevated on the wagons of the spirit, and the name departed in their midst.

2. And he was raised aloft on the chariots of the spirit and his name vanished among them.

3. From that time I was not drawn into the midst of them; but he seated me between two spirits, between the north and the west, where the angels received their ropes, to measure out a place for the elect and the righteous.

Net edition: This probably means that Enoch was given a heavenly throne-chariot, and didn't travel as a passenger among the angels after that.

3. And from that day I was not drawn in their midst, and he set me between two winds, between the north and the west, there where the angels took the cords to measure for me the place for the chosen and for the just.

3. And from that day I was no longer numbered amongst them: and he set me between the two winds, between the North and the West, where the angels took the cords to measure for me the place for the elect and righteous.

4. There I beheld the fathers of the first men, and the saints, who dwell in that place for ever.

4. And there I saw the first fathers and the just, who dwell in this place from the beginning.

4. And there I saw the first fathers and the righteous who from the beginning dwell in that place.
